Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Fresh scallions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

To whip up your Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon, follow these simple steps:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This ensures a nice, crispy texture when cooking.
  3. Season the Fillets: Lightly brush both sides of the salmon with olive oil. Then, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  5. Coat the Salmon: Generously brush the Bang Bang sauce over the top of each salmon fillet, reserving some sauce for serving later.
  6. Cook in the Air Fryer: Place the salmon fillets in the preheated air fryer basket, skin-side down. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle with additional Bang Bang sauce, and garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
